Do I Wear too Much Skincare Products Im 13? 1

i think that at 13 you dont NEED to do all these things. but if you think you have improved then yeah go ahead. honestly, if you were talking about over-applying MAKEUP, that would be a different story. but since this is something that is improving your skin and health, there is no problem with it. when i was 13, i never HAD to do anything like that. I dont really do any of that now. all i do is wash with facewash every morning and before i go to bed. then every once in a while i will do a hydrating mask. maybe once a week. it does the trick and i dont waste so much time. but like i said, if you like doing it, IGNORE YOUR FRIENDS. they will be the ones with wrinkles and blotchy skin when they get older. keep it up and STAY BEAUTIFUL.:)

What are some "miracle" drugstore skincare products?

It comes in a clear pump bottle and it the gel inside is orange. You should use this once a day Morning or Night and for the other times use Cetaphil face wash (pH neutral cleanser wo not dry your skin out) If you suffer from dry skin, drying it out wo not help as your face will produce more sebum and this of course will lead to more pimples. Next you need a good moisturiser: Something extra hydrating would work well here and non-comedogenic Acne scarring is exacerbated by UV, so every morning you should be using a good, light, oil free suncreen for your face, SPF 30 To even out the redness is where you will have to try hunt down a good priced "Copper Peptide" serum/cream, they can be expensive but shop around. DEFINITELY worth trying, persevere with it though every night, you should notice the difference in a few weeks. Also, 100% LAscorbic acid (vitamin C) in powder form, mixed into your moisturiser and applied at night will help even out skin tone and help with healing. I hope some of this helps (really with the redness; Vitamin C powdermoisturiser and copper peptide cream will work the best) As for your current scars: keep them away from the sun or use suncreen, dab Vitamin E oil at night The Copper Peptide cream will help break scars down too Exfoliate once a week.no more than twice depending on your skin type

What are the best skincare products for women in their 40's?

I am not in my 40s, but in my 30s and my dear friend is an aesthetician. She prefers Murad products, and I tell you, I have never been disappointed ever by them. They are costly (I spend about 100 dollars on the products-and that's even with my friend's discount). I would say that for 150$ you can get a cleanser, serum, moisturizer and maybe an extra treatment for those visible pores and dry patches. I would recommend treating the breakouts and visible pores with their vitamin C products or their acne products, then using cheap cetaphil lotion for those dry patches. And the cetaphil that's for the body, not the face one-it may be too light. Other than that, you could get a prescription for Tretinoin/retin A. It combats acne, pores, sun damage as well as wrinkles. It will make your skin very dry, so I always use a heavy non-anti wrinkle moisturizer with it. I like Mary Kay's regular moisturizer with no anti aging properties in it so it does not doubly fry my skin like using the Murad with the retin A. I would choose one or the other (the Murad route or the retin a route). That said, remember to chose cleansing and moisturizing products that treat the acne and pores first, then to the dry spots add a very, very rich extra moisturizer. Good luck! I am skin obsessed, so I am pretty sure my suggestions will work. Oh, and if you do not chose the retin A route, make sure to get a microderm abrasion twice a month-professionally, not the ones at the store-my aunt does it and her skin looks great. She's 54 and looks 40. Few wrinkles, no breakouts, dewey skin.

Taking care of our skin is highly important as it is one of our body's largest organs of, and healthy skin is key to protection from harmful elements. There are a lot of skincare advice and it may be confusing to choose which one is good for us. To set the record straight, here is a list of seven tips on skincare that you can try. Cleanse twice, not once, according to Marie Claire. The first cleansing will simply remove all the surface make-up and dirt, while the second cleanses deeper. Proper cleansing produces new skin cells, that will improve your complexion. Even if you double-cleanse your face, it is wise to invest in good eye make-up remover. You need a cleanser that is specifically designed for the delicate area around your eyes, to ensure all make-up is removed thoroughly. This will prevent left over make-up from remaining on tiny hair follicles that can cause eye infections. Sunscreen is to be worn all year round as it can protect your skin from dangerous UV rays radiated by the sun. SPF contained in sunscreen can protect your skin from premature ageing caused by the sun's UVA and UVB rays. However, exfoliating your skin too often is not recommended. Celebrity facial therapist Joanna Vargas told glamour.com that exfoliating every day could strip the skin of its natural oils, which could cause breakouts. Washington, D.C.-based dermatologist Elizabeth Tanzi, M.D. pointed out that exfoliating two to three times a week was good for normal and combination skin, and once a week was ideal for sensitive skin. Aside from applying moisturizers, our skin can become moist thanks to adequate water intake. Drink six to eight glasses of water a day to ensure your metabolism works well, and good metabolism contributes to hydrated, supple and clearer skin. "Slumber is nature's most powerful beauty treatment," wrote Fitness Magazine. When we are asleep, our bodies produce a human growth hormone that contributes to collagen production. Hair, face and body products also penetrate better when we are at rest. Getting enough sleep, you will wake up feeling and looking refreshed. Glowing skin is a sign of internal organs that function well, which is linked to a healthy and balanced diet. Make sure that your daily intake includes high antioxidants, minerals and vitamins. You might as well consider eating superfoods or use skincare products that contain them. Acerola cherry, with its high vitamin C content, and spirulina extract are known to be packed with vitamins and minerals, for instance. (ely/mut)
